A Child's Prayer To The Heavenly Father
Dear Father, I come to You now as a child comes to a parent seeking guidance, love and comfort. For I know Father that without You in my life, I wander through a maze of uncertainty and confusion.
And just as a child finds comfort in the strong embrace of his earthly father, I now turn to You Heavenly Father seeking the protective surety of Your infinite love. I know, Almighty One, that when I trust in You, my burden grows light and my resolve grows strong.
Your Son Jesus taught us of a father's love when He said: what man is there of you, whom if his son asks for bread, will he give him a stone? (Matthew 7:9) That's why I ask You now Father to fill me with the everlasting bread that came down from heaven. Lead me around Satan's snares into Your Kingdom of everlasting light.
O Most Holy One, be my comfort and deliverer not only throughout this day, but also for the rest of my life on earth. Lead me not into temptation. Wash me clean in the blood of Jesus Your Messiah, so that on that day when my journey has ended, You will turn to me and say: Well done my good and faithful servant.

A Prayer For Pastors
By Susie Dicus
Abba Father, I pray that You give godly wisdom to all of Your pastors to help bring revival, reform and victory to the world. Keep them in Your hands, O God. Keep wisdom in their hearts so they may quickly recognize the needs of their flock and guide them always in Your Spirit. And may Your wisdom enable them to grow in holiness so that they may live a satisfying God-honoring life.
Dear Lord, quicken to life every sacred power within all of Your pastors, so that they may lay hold of things eternal. Open their spiritual eyes that they may see, their spiritual ears that they may hear Your voice in all things. Give them acute spiritual perception and enable them to touch You and to know You are near. Make heaven more real to them so that they may make it more real for us. And may they lead all of Your flock to victory.
In the name of Jesus I pray all these things.
